Legit Cannabis is one of those stops where the store itself is part of the experience. Heidi and her husband, Wael, are behind the Lakeville-area dispensary, building on years in Minnesota cannabis culture through Minnesota Legit and a deep connection to glass.
That history shows up immediately. Legit features an extensive glass selection, including work from its own team of glassblowers and custom pieces, alongside electronics, dugouts, grinders, accessories, merch, papers, cones, torches, and more. The space leans all the way into its identity too — hot pink cannabis-leaf wallpaper, green accents, murals, plant walls, bold prints, and plenty to look at before you even get to the menu.
Heidi gave Natalie a tour of the large South Metro store, where shoppers can find flower, pre-rolls, concentrates, vapes and carts, hemp beverages and edibles, plus the accessory assortment that made Legit stand out on this stop.
Natalie left with Float Cannabis' MAC Marker, Marawanna's Octane Mintz concentrate, and one of her Trailhead favorites: Killer Cupcake. Trailhead products had sold out at Legit at the time of the visit, with more on the way.
Legit is also planning additional Minnesota locations in Duluth and Minneapolis, making this Lakeville-area stop the beginning of a larger footprint.
